#blueberryMeetUp Wýchova Webů W Čechách

#blueberryMeetUp Wýchova Webů W Čechách
Event on 2017-05-23 18:00:00
DESCRIPTION
Bojuješ s komplexem “make my logo bigger”. Nevíš si rady s naceněním projektů. Chceš zavést do vašich designů řád a prostě dělat lepší weby. Právě pro tebe bude náš MeetUp tím správným zdrojem informací. Zároveň je otevřen všem projektovým manažerům, product ownerům, zájemcům o grafiku, UX design a Blueberry.
Novinka

And now the English FAQ… Who usually attends the training? The background of the participants is as colourful as the Lego bricks: Human Resources Developers, Project Managesr, Agile Coaches, Strategists, Innovation Agents, Team Leaders, CEOs, Marketing Experts, Brand Manager, Sales Manager etc. Do I need special knowledge or skills? Yes! In leading teams and faciliation! Special LEGO® knowledge is not required… Do you train only me or also my team? We offer trainings open for everyone, but also inhouse for teams. If you’re interested in training a team, please contact us to discuss your needs and requirements, so that we can customize our training offering for you. Is this an „official“ LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® training? We understand your confusion regarding which training is the more official one and can clarify: There is no "official" certification program, but there are 5 official LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® trainers endorsed by LEGO. Two of those trainers are from StrategicPlay®: Katrin Elster and Jacquie Lloyd Smith. StrategicPlay® is part of the Advisory Board with LEGO to make sure that the trainings all have the same quality and content tob e able to design and facilitate LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshops. Where is the training? The open trainings usually take place in our CoCreACT Space in the beautiful city of Hamburg. (Ditmar-Koel-Str. 23a, 20459 Hamburg). Inhouse trainings at a location of your choice. How many days? The StrategicPlay® FUNdamentals on LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY™ takes 3 days. We start around 8:30h until 18:00h (or 17:00h on the last day). Please make sure that you have enough time after the end of the second day, because then is the time to design and prepare your first own LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop. What is included? The fee includes: Training and special training material, lunch and refreshments. For inhouse trainings special conditions apply. The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® material will be provided by us for the duration of the training How many participants? Our LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® trainings cover a lot of theory AND practice where you use hands and brain all the time. Therefore we prefer small training teams of 8 participants max. Inhouse trainings can be offered for bigger groups and with more trainers. And we need at least three participants to make the training happen. In which language? We offer the trainings in English and German. Our open trainings are usually held in the language prefered by the participants who sign up first. As soon as we know if it’s German or English, we mark the training accordingly. If you are interested in signing up, but definitely prefer only one language, please feel free to contact us. Do I get a Certificate? Yes, if you attended the whole training and proved your new knowledge and skills with the facilitation on the last day! May I use the brand? StrategicPlay® owns the brand and logo. You need a written agreement from us to use it for marketing and sales. We have a StrategicPlay® Partner Program for that. If you are interested, just let us know. LEGO® owns the the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® brand and has special trademark guidelines we’re happy to provide. Why LEGO®? Everyone can (learn to) build! Nobody has to be talented – artistically or technically – to express him-/herself (like with painting etc.) No mess, no dirt. Everything that was built is reversible, customizable! Lego is fun! The LEGO Serious Play materials are designed to be diverse and stimulating for the imagination. LEGO allows four-dimensional simulations!

Website Redesign

Website Redesign is a must for some businesses.  Over time, all businesses do need to update their online website image.  The online image of a business is a reflection of the goods and services they are offering. A modern and clean image shows that we are up to date and in the know about what we are offering to our clients.  An out of style design may be taken for a sign that a business is not fresh or current, and not the go to business for new info.

Website Redesign

Content Overhaul is Necessary in a Website Redesign

Fresh site content is also crucial here.  If information is not kept recent, website visitors may think you are not the market leader and may prefer to shop elsewhere.   Keep info up to date with good content and with regular blog posts to help make this happen.  If you are busy, you may need to hire a content writer to do this task for you.  The money spent here is a good investment for your business.

You may wonder why a website redesign is a must-do even if your business is doing well, for instance.  The answer is simple.  When a company site image is enhanced, value is created. As a result, you can target a new set of clients with this image.  Second, you can come up to par with a competitor who may be more ahead of the game than you are.  Finally, you can think about raising your prices as a result of this new branding.

For the above reasons, I think a site makeover is money well spent.  The value it brings is so crucial to keeping your site active and engaging so that clients will want to return over and over again.  A good investment that over time will definitely pay for itself.

Toronto Design Trade Show this November 2016

Toronto design tradeshow is coming up at the end of the year. Every year I make it a point of going to about three to five industry related trade shows; anything from web design to search engine optimization to graphic trends. As an industry professional, I think this is crucial in keeping up to date with client needs as well as making useful contacts that I can refer my clients to when the work is outside my scope of practice or skills. This is why I am blogging about a show that I think many graphic designers and web marketing professionals may be particularly interested in. Read More >
