Toronto Design Trade Show this November 2016
Toronto design tradeshow is coming up at the end of the year. Every year I make it a point of going to about three to five industry related trade shows; anything from web design to search engine optimization to graphic trends. As an industry professional, I think this is crucial in keeping up to date with client needs as well as making useful contacts that I can refer my clients to when the work is outside my scope of practice or skills. This is why I am blogging about a show that I think many graphic designers and web marketing professionals may be particularly interested in.
Toronto Design Trade Show is a must attend
This year I will attend the three day Design City 2016 show for the second time; it takes place at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, Ontario from November 19th to the 21st. Last year, I found the experience enlightening so I thought I should share!
Design City 2016 brings together companies that sell, distribute or promote products, and/or marketing solutions to their clientele. Toronto web industry professionals benefit from this marketing event because its a great meeting place for professionals to exchange information, and an overall valuable industry experience.
Last year, the place was packed solid with printing and graphic specialists who were able to exchange industry ideas with me, as well as give insider information on current and emerging web design trends. This information complements my daily workload, both on-line and off-line, which includes web design, logo work, and other company branding that may be required from my clients.
Branding and marketing.
Most important though is meeting the people behind the companies so that I know who I am working with on a daily basis. As an engaging industry professional, I am looking forward to another great show for 2016!
